Why use a Talk2Me Debriefing Mentor?
We’re Objective: You may not want to debrief with someone at work because you may not want them to know you are stressed. You may also find it hard to debrief with your partner for the same reason. Alternatively, he or she might be busy with the kids when you get home and not able to listen to how your day was.
We Listen: At Talk2Me: debrief your day our Debriefing Mentors are highly skilled at listening, reflecting, empathising and helping you to learn and apply the simple model. Our Mentors won’t give give you industry specific advice, but we WILL help you to get the stress of your day out of your system so that you don’t carry your work stress through the front door.

It’s Convenient: So simple. Once you book and pay for your six sessions we will call you at the appointed times. The sessions will happen in between you finishing work and arriving home.

It is normal to adjust to a certain amount of stress, whether at work or at home.
We are built to do that.
But if our workload suddenly intensifies in some way – or if an unexpected and distressing life event occurs (such as illness, or the death of a loved one for example), stress can quickly becomes a problem.
When we become over-stressed it can start to affect how we cope with our day-to-day activities.
The early psychological and emotional signs that a person is becoming over-stressed could include:
– increased irritability,
– feeling anxious,
– avoiding people,
– moodiness/feeling frustrated with things that normally not frustrating,
– low self esteem/ self confidence.
More advanced stress if untreated could lead to:
– anxiety attacks (panic), or depression.
IMPORTANT: talk2me: debrief your day is designed as an early intervention strategy for people who may be experiencing the EARLY signs of stress. If you think your stress is heading towards anxiety attacks (panic) or depression, we strongly urge you to visit your Doctor for a referral to a Mental Health Professional who can assist you in a structured therapeutic setting.
